Lived-Living Experience (Peer) Workforce Grant Recipients

The Lived-Living Experience (Peer) Workforce Grants had a total of $2.5 million in available funds, with grants starting from $500,000 for initiatives delivered up to June 30, 2027.

Successful grants support the implementation of Recommendation 54 from the Mental Health Select Committee Inquiry into the opportunities to improve mental health outcomes for Queenslanders, which focuses on expanding and regulating Queensland’s Lived-Living Experience (Peer) workforce.

Roses in the Ocean

Roses in the Ocean have been funded to lead the Sustainable Lived-Living Experience and Peer Suicide Prevention Workforce Framework. This statewide initiative includes tailored tools, resources, training and support that builds the capability and readiness of Queensland’s suicide prevention LLE and peer workforces and the organisations that engage them.

QuIVAA

Queensland Injectors Voice for Advocacy and Action (QuIVAA) have been funded to lead the co-design of the Lived-Living Experience Advancement Partnership (LEAP); a peer-led statewide initiative strengthening Queensland’s AOD Peer Workforce through the development of specialised training streams and digital story telling.

Brook RED

Brook RED have been funded to lead the co-design of a Code of Ethics and Practice and guidance tools, with professional development offerings for the Lived-Living Experience mental health workforce in Queensland.
