Our performance

Our performance is measured and reported on in our annual stakeholder surveys and our annual reports, which outline our progress and achievements. 

Our Strategic Framework outlines the Commission’s objectives to achieve better outcomes for people living with mental health illness or problematic alcohol and other drugs use, as well as those affected by suicide.

Our operational plans and  Budget Service Delivery Statements and are the blueprint for the activities we undertake each year, against which we measure our performance.

As required under our legislation, an independent review of the Commission's performance was undertaken in 2016. 

Review of our performance

The Queensland Mental Health Commission Act 2013 required the Minister for Health to arrange an independent review of the Commission’s performance within three years of the commencement of the Act.

The Queensland Mental Health Commission effectiveness review (PDF, 4.80MB) was completed by the Queensland Public Service Commission and finalised in June 2016.
