Shifting minds evaluation co-design workshops

Opportunity to shape the Shifting minds evaluation framework

The Queensland Mental Health Commission is seeking the help of people with lived experience of mental illness, alcohol and other drugs and their families/carers, community organisations and service providers to design an evaluation framework for Shifting Minds Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Strategic Plan 2018-2023.

Shifting minds sets the five-year direction to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders and reduce the impact of mental illness, problematic alcohol and other drugs use, and suicide through a commitment to:

  • Better lives through person-centred care and reducing barriers to participation
  • Invest to save through mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention
  • Whole-of-system improvement through a balanced approach and collective action.

The Queensland Mental Health Commission is hosting a series of evaluation co-design workshops to help understand what outcomes matter most to people with lived experience of mental illness, problematic alcohol and other drug use and suicide, as well as community organisations and service providers.
