Connecting Care to Recovery 2016-2021

Connecting care to recovery 2016-2021 is a new a state-wide services plan for the delivery of Queensland’s State-funded mental health, alcohol and other drug services.

The plan was released in October 2016 and fulfils a commitment of the Queensland Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Strategic Plan 2014-2019.

The services plan was developed by Queensland Health, which will lead the priorities for action and investment, while monitoring its implementation with the support of the Commission. The Queensland Government committed $350 million over five years to expand mental health, alcohol and other drug services. Read the Minister for Health’s statement.
