Commissioner discusses reported rise in attempted farmer suicides on ABC Radio National

Queensland Mental Health Commissioner Dr Lesley van Schoubroeck joined Cathy Van Extel on ABC Radio National Breakfast to talk about ongoing concerns about the mental health of farmers who are struggling in drought affected regions of Queensland, with many communities are reporting a rise in the number of attempted suicides.

Dr van Schoubroeck was joined on air by Kelsey Nielson, Deputy Mayor of Boulia Shire Council, Councillor Keith Douglas from Cloncurry Shire Council and Lloyd Mills, the General Manager of Outback Queensland Tourism.
