Hearing Voices Qld established

Hearing Voices Queensland is a newly established organisation that seeks to build a network of support groups across  the State. Hearing Voices hopes to provide advocacy, awareness, information and education for voice hearers, carers and the general community.

Hearing Voices Networks seek to:

  • support and develop local Hearing Voices Support Groups
  • raise awareness of the hearing voices approach
  • campaign for human rights and social justice for people who hear voices
  • provide information, advice and support to people who hear voices, their family, friends 5.To provide training and education for mental health services and practitioners 

Dr Rufus May workshops

The launch of the Hearing Voices Qld network is accompanied by a series of workshops around the State by Dr Rufus May, focused on mental health support and recovery.
