Social enterprises for employment outcomes

The Queensland Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Strategic Plan 2014-2019 aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of Queenslanders by working towards six long-term outcomes, including ‘People living with mental health difficulties or issues related to substance use have lives with purpose’.

Paid employment brings purpose and is important for wellbeing and recovery. It provides not only income, but also opportunity for social engagement.
