New mental health legislation

The Queensland Parliament passed the Mental Health Act 2016 on 18 February 2016.

Implementation updates

Queensland Health’s Mental Health Act implementation team sends out regular newsletter to keep stakeholders up to date on the new Act.

These will continue until the Mental Health Act 2016 takes effect in March 2017.
