QMHW Grants

Queensland community groups can apply for a total of $85,000 in grant funding to help spread awareness and contribute to improved mental health and wellbeing in their local community.

Queensland Mental Health Week (QMHW) Grants are funded by the Commission to support community groups across the State to host community mental health awareness events and activities held during QMHW, from 6-14 October 2018.

Grants up to $2500 (excluding GST) are available to cover or contribute to costs for QMHW registered events and activities. This could include venue hire, merchandise, printing or photocopying, refreshments or engaging a mental health specialist.

The grant program is funded by the Queensland Mental Health Commission and managed by the Commission’s partner, the Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH).
