Dashboard

We are currently developing methods to measure and report on outcomes from Shifting minds: Queensland Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Strategic Plan 2018-2023, which marks the finalisation of the Strategic Plan 2014–2019 and associated action plans.

The dashboard is now concluded. It tracked the progress and status of every action under the five action plans that supported delivery of the now superseded 2014-2019 Strategic Plan.

2016-17 Dashboard

The 2016–17 dashboard details progress towards every action under the Action Plans that support delivery of the Strategic Plan.

In 2016 the Queensland Government released two additional action plans, totalling five in effect for this reporting period:

  • Early Action: Queensland Mental Health Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention Action 2015–17
  • Queensland Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2015-17
  • Queensland Alcohol and other Drugs Action Plan 2015-17
  • Queensland Rural and Remote Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan 2016-18
  • Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social and Emotional Wellbeing Action Plan 2016-18

Each Action Plan sets its own framework for government action recognising unique approaches are needed to improve outcomes for Queenslanders across a wide range of areas.

Together, the action plans committed 26 Queensland Government agencies to implementing 283 actions, up from 22 agencies and 193 actions in 2015-16 (two actions are repeated in two Action Plans).

The dashboards below detail progress towards implementing these actions.

Early action dashboard

The Early Action plan contains actions focused on mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention.

Alcohol & other drugs dashboard

The Alcohol and Other Drugs plan aims to prevent and reduce the adverse impact of alcohol and other drugs on the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.

Suicide prevention dashboard

The Suicide Prevention plan aims to reduce suicide and its impact on Queenslanders.

Rural and remote dashboard

The Rural and Remote plan aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people living in rural and remote Queensland.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dashboard

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social and Emotional Wellbeing plan aims to improve social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities.

2015-16 Dashboard

The 2015–16 dashboard details progress towards every action under the Action Plans that support delivery of the Strategic Plan.

The Action Plans in effect for this period are:

  • Early Action: Queensland Mental Health Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention Action 2015–17
  • Queensland Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2015-17
  • Queensland Alcohol and other Drugs Action Plan 2015-17.

Each action plan sets its own framework for government action recognising unique approaches are needed to improve outcomes for Queenslanders across a wide range of areas.

Together, the action plans commit 22 State Government agencies to implementing 193 actions (two actions are repeated in two different action plans).
